Dr. Rashmi Barve pursued her MBBS from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences,Karad and holds a distinction in Ophthalmology .She completed her Post graduation from Govt.medical college and hospital,Miraj.She completed her cataract microsurgery training at Lions NAB hospital,Miraj and LASIK surgery training from Mumbai. She has an experience of 20 years.
She has been a consultant at Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital and Sahyadri hospital, Pune till April 2013.
She is currently associated with Hiranandani hospital,Thane and Kaushalya hospital,Thane.
Giving back to society by helping the lesser previliged has always been of prime importance to Dr. Rashmi Barve . She has been associated with charitable institutions like Shri. Anandpur charitable trust hospital,Ayodhya charitable trust hospital Pune ,Sriram hospital in Thane and Prasad chikitsa, Ganesh Puri. She currently is associated with Dev Kunj charitable eye hospital in Mulund.
Dr. Barve is proficient in routine and complex cataract surgery with premium intra- ocular lenses and other anterior segment surgeries. She has a warm demeanor and a friendly personality.
